About the Opportunity:
DMI, LLC is seeking to hire an Product Owner to join us. The person filling this role with be dual hatted as a Product Manager and a Scrum Master with an emphasis on the former with scrum Master Experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager:
- Understand and represent user needs
- Provide functional analyses
- In conjunction with the client, formulate a vision for a product.
- Align stakeholders around the formulated vision for the product.
- Prioritize product features and capabilities.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
As a Scrum Master:
- Steer the team through the Scrum framework.
- Work to keep team focused on their role and duties
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles
- Maintain and understanding of the big development picture of each sprint
- Bridge the needs of product management, operations, and product development
- Act as the Champion for the project, teams, and team members
- Provide mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience: BA/BS w/7+ Yrs Experience
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Relevant Agile Certification
Additional Requirements: Secret Clearance
