REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the tech AI/ML SaaS sector.
  • Experience with machine learning concepts, frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience with defining stories and prioritizing team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components.
  • Experience with using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in Agile, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Product Owner on one or more scrum teams.
  • Work with the VP of Product to translate high level objectives into sprint plans and backlogs.
  • Work closely with product development and product stakeholders following an Agile product development methodology.
  • Prepare the product vision, stakeholders’ understanding, expectations, strategy, product milestones, investor’s expectations, product benefits and business model.
  • Create product roadmap, show how the features and the user stories fit into the product roadmap.
  • Get hands-on with the product in every stage of development.
  • Breaking product management’s epics into user stories
  • Arranging and prioritizing sprints
  • Order and define user stories and features prioritizing highest business value.
  • Write user stories before refinement meeting: description, acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare designs, data and examples for each user story.
  • Assign user stories to a release.
  • Share release schedule and impact of the next release.
  • Work with software engineering team to implement user stories.
  • Work closely with QA to provide testable acceptance criteria for each story.
  • Organize and maintain product backlog.
  • Evaluate progress at each stage of development.
  • Answer dev questions about the reasoning for user stories or tasks
  • Document and communicate release notes and functional specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with fellow technologists and other stakeholders.
