Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

You will work with a team with skills in software development, testing, architecture, and other product specialists, supported by a Scrum Master, to build and deliver product backlog to achieve product goals for Consumer and Small Business Fixed Broadband services.
You act as an ‘owner’, ensure our fixed broadband product achieves the high standards in the market and delivery of exceptional customer value.
You are a leader and act as a role model emulating the behaviours and characteristics we desire from the teams who look to you for guidance

ESSENCE OF ROLE – KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work with the Chief Product owner to develop and explicitly communicate the Product Goal
Working with key stakeholders to create, gather and clearly communicate the Product Backlog Items
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood to the team and to stakeholders
Developing and refining the product backlog items and prioritizing them based on changing requirements and progress to achieving product goals and customer outcomes, including the development of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Creating and maintaining story maps to break work down into smaller increments of value deliverable to customers.
Identify opportunities for enhancements to the product and value delivery to customers.
Working with a cross functional team, using the scrum framework, you will be accountable for the product goals being accomplished and for the value delivered.
Agree sprint goals, actively participate in sprint events, and role model behaviours of collaboration and teamwork.
Own the responsibility for planning and executing successful sprint reviews.
Plan releases of value created by the scrum team, working with agile delivery owners to move user stories or epics through to release to customers.
Own the release plan.
Be the champion and voice of the customer for your product.
Support the Chief Product Owner with updates and reporting to C-Suite and other senior stakeholders on value delivered, progress to product goals, impediments and other key KPIs etc.
