Position overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Product Owner to join a dynamic team within Sanlam Rewards & Loyalty’s coalition program. You will be the champion for building a best-in-class rewards experience for Wellness, Life & Health (WLH) products, leveraging behavioral science to incentivize healthy habits and achieve positive outcomes for both Sanlam and the coalition.

CUSTOMER JOURNEY & EXPERIENCE OPTIMISATION:

  • Map the customer journey for WLH products within the coalition program, focusing on identifying and addressing pain points related to earning rewards, redeeming benefits, and overall program engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the customer experience and ensure a seamless rewards redemption process.
  • Develop communication strategies to effectively explain program benefits, promote healthy behaviors, and motivate customer engagement.

COALITION PARTNER COLLABORATION:

  • Build strong relationships with coalition partners to understand their customer segments and explore potential synergies for integrated rewards experiences focused on wellness and health.
  • Identify co-branded rewards opportunities with coalition partners to enhance the value proposition for both Sanlam and partner customers within the WLH product category.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure seamless integration of rewards programs and streamlined redemption processes for coalition customers seeking WLH products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications include a Bachelors’s degree in actuarial, data science, client experience, businessadministration, industrial engineering or related field would be advantageous.
  • 5-8 years relevant experience in product management, with a focus on customer rewards and loyalty programs.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful rewards programs within the financial services industry, ideally with experience in the wellness or health insurance space.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral science principles and their application in designing engaging and motivating rewards structures that promote healthy behaviors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to utilize data to inform program decisions and optimize customer experience and health outcomes.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
