  • From £40,000, dependent on experience
  • Closing Date: 24.07.2024
Are you a dynamic and creative IT professional looking to make a difference in one of the country’s most important business sectors? We are looking for two Product Owners to help us achieve our ambitious goals for the next generation of our solutions. At Microlise we partner with major logistics operators and NGOs to help them deliver goods and services on time and to wherever in the world they need to be.
The opportunities are with our Fleet Management products where you will help to design and deliver solutions that improve road-user safety and driver behaviour, monitor vehicle performance and emissions and apply the latest in AI technology for analytics and data discovery.
The successful candidate will already be working as a Product Owner or will be a Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile. You will prioritise the product backlog and work closely with Scrum teams to refine and deliver new functionality. You will also be responsible for updating product documentation both for internal support and sales experts, and external users. If this sounds like the right job for you then why not apply today and find out more about these great opportunities?

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Have a passion for creating successful software products and services, with a clear focus on the user experience
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a software development environment, or experience as a logistics industry professional looking for a new career change
  • Ability to get to the heart of a problem and be clear about the problem to be solved and why.
  • Have good communication and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation
  • Stakeholder management with the capability to manage expectations
  • Requirement elicitation and analysis
  • Working with external customers
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum development methodologies

Responsibilities:

  • We are committed to providing innovative services to transport operators that align with Microlise core values to champion safe, responsible, efficient, compliant, and profitable transport operations.
  • We are committed to providing services to remote asset-owning organisations who are innovating their business operating models for advanced service propositions. These organisations align with Microlise core values to champion safe, responsible, efficient, compliant, and profitable asset lifecycles.
  • We are committed to using what we learn to improve outcomes for communities living, working, or interacting with connected assets, whether through necessity or choice
