ROLE

The Process harmonization team is mandated to design globally harmonized target processes for Allianz Trade, based on inventories and assessment of the as-is, identification of best practices, consultations of Regions and Countries, customer and efficiency impacts, and IT implementation costs. The objective is to reduce the variances for a same existing process across the 7 Regions / 50 countries in order to achieve a global process, or to design new processes harmonized globally from the start. The team assesses each process in detail in order to recommend a granular target with clear business rules, ready for IT implementation (“business requirement level”).The Process Harmonization team is composed of a core Group team and interacts with Group Functions (specifically Commercial, Policy Management, and Claims & Collections), with IT Programs and applications (e.g. Compass, Allianz Trade Online, CRM…) as well as with a Regional/Country network of experts.
The work of the team strongly benefits to the roll-out of the ITMP and works very closely with the ITMP teams.

MAIN TASKS

  • Drive and close Process harmonization topics: for all process harmonization business needs expressed, which may come from the ITMP teams, Group Functions or the Regions/BUs, the Product Owner is in charge of analyzing the as-is processes and paint points, understanding what are the variances linked to legal requirements which could not be harmonized, recommending a target global process including simplification and efficiency, assessing its business and IT impacts, documenting it, validating it with the Group and Regional stakeholders and communicating it. The goal of the Product Owner in this workstream is to provide strong support to the ITMP roll-out and to the design of global target processes for the ITMP teams
  • Improve and update the Digital Operating Model: the Product Owner is in charge of refreshing the existing DOM by enhancing current format and content based on stakeholders’ feedback, reviewing it with Group Functions, Regions/BUs and IT Programs/applications to ensure it reflects latest process steps, and improving it where further harmonization or efficiency can be suggested
