  • Software development and project management: Understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and product management practices. Experienced in Functional Specification Writing for a development team, Project Management of Software Development, Concept Writing, and User Story Mapping.
  • Technical knowledge and continuous improvement mindset: Familiarity with software development, software architecture, software interfacing and common IT technologies, commitment to ongoing learning, and staying up to date with industry developments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and understanding of security practices.
  • High-level Knowledge and understanding of the power generation industry and domain in which the software product operates.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to data management and software development.
  • Teamwork and adaptability: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, manage shifting priorities, and adapt to changes in project targets or objectives.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills: Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and structure work efficiently, as well as identify and resolve issues using technical expertise and critical thinking.

In our division, Service and Digital, we offer a broad portfolio of cutting-edge technologies, services and solutions for the Gas and Power industries. In our Business Unit, Controls and Digitalization, we provide control systems and solutions.
Omnivise Asset Management is a comprehensive software suite for Operations and Maintenance of Power Plants. It consists of four applications – Reliability, Diagnostics, Maintenance, Operations - that address all major roles and cover all major process in operating and maintaining power plants. The software strongly builds on the integration of data from various data sources. This data is used for online analytics and dashboarding. Efficiently interfacing with these data sources is an important aspect. We seek to expand our team of Product Managers with a person who has expertise in software engineering with a focus on data interfacing, APIs, and administrative backend services.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate product vision and strategy for data interfacing and administrative services, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Review customer and market requirements: Define high-level solution design and software needs, write epics and user stories, and prioritize features in the product backlog.
  • Interface with Software Architects and Development Teams: Drive, plan, and accompany software development sprints; provide guidance and clarification on the user stories and concept, ensuring alignment with product vision.
  • Participate in R&D planning: Engage in yearly R&D planning, support agile development processes based on market and customer requirements, and continuously improve the product development process.
  • Communicate product roadmap: Keep internal and external development teams informed about the product vision, priorities, and progress.
  • Monitor product performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to inform decision-making and ensure the product meets customer needs.
  • Manage product lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, including post-launch evaluation and product improvements.
  • Support project execution and customer engagement: Provide expert support within the scope of software maintenance service, solve issues during project execution and customer engagements, demonstrating the product’s value and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for lead generation: Interface with local sales consultants, bid management, product management, and product development to realize the best customer solution (solution architecting).
