Description:

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous lab experience using flow cytometry or previous sales experience selling flow cytometry equipment and/or reagents
  • Strong technical background with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting
  • Background and familiarity with Flow Cytometry
  • Experience in working efficiently in a matrix environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Success in working and driving business growth across business functions
  • Ability to travel overnight travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Able to lift 35 lbs. independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like SFDC
  • Outstanding understanding of the sales funnel and how to move sales forward in a changing environment
  • Can-do demeanor and highly motivated to win sales and take share from competitors

  • Demonstrate selling success in the area of flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters
  • Display an acute awareness of the life science marketplace, particularly with cell analysis, its trends and our competitors
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory
