Description:

We are looking for a Product Specialist Cell Line, Media & Testing Solutions (x|f|m) for the Product Excellence CMTS EMEA department home based in France, United Kingdom or Germany (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH). In this role you will be accountable for driving the media portfolio growth, ensuring successful customer technology adoption and being the technical escalation pathway for the related products and solutions. Building & maintaining customer satisfaction is one of your key drivers. The team consists of six professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving & coordinating activities to achieve the sales plan for the assigned CMTS products in the EMEA region
  • Act as local subject matter expert on all aspects of the assigned products and applications in support of sales and promotion of the product line
  • Lead internal stakeholders to provide first-in-class customer experience with the product and service and ensure that sales tools, equipment and training are adequate
  • Collaborate on strategic sales projects with different stakeholders contributing to the technical background and positioning of the solution
  • Ensure voice-of-customer, product & market/field feedback/trends is provided to Product Management and Product Development to ensure customers needs are considered for new products or evolutions with the product life cycle
  • Promote key messages of product line in project specific sales situations, conferences or other channels: in bioprocess community through publications, presentations and participation in relevant industry organizations
  • Track and analyze the sales performance of the CMTS media products and define targeted action plans together with the Sales and Marketing organizations to increase penetration into customer processes

What will convince us

  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological engineering or life sciences
  • Deep technical knowledge of mammalian cell culture, media and feed formulations and optimization with a focus but not limited to CHO and HEK cell lines
  • Several years biopharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in R&D/cell culture/media development/media optimization
  • Customer facing experience
  • Ability to interact at various levels within the organization (lateral leadership)
  • Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize activities accordingly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Windows-based business programs; Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, CRM, etc.
  • Approximately 30% travel and excellent Englisch skills
