Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Altair is seeking a Product Specialist, CFD to support our AcuSolve product team. AcuSolve is Altair’s class leading multi-purpose Computational Fluid Dynamics solver based on the Galerkin/Least Squares Finite Element Method. The Product Specialist will support the Altair CFD software development team in the creation of new simulation software advancements, supporting tutorials and documentation, and aid external-facing Application Engineers in the support of customers. They will work alongside members of the product development team and learn valuable skills in fluids and thermal analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Run a wide variety of flow and thermal simulations
- Testing of new solver physics and features
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to verify test cases.
- Conversion of tutorial and validation cases to latest GUI interfaces
- Development of Altair CFD supporting collateral and test cases
- Create media for marketing purposes
