Product Specialist for MALDI-TOF (m/f/d)

Your mission at Shimadzu:

• You are the technical consultant for our Europe-wide sales force and thus responsible for second-level support for technical sales, product, and application support for MALDI-TOF. Your diverse activities include, for example, the development of customer-specific analysis methods
• You take over training courses for customers (m/f/d) and colleagues (m/f/d) who come to us from all over Europe
• You create sales supporting documents, e.g., in cooperation with our marketing department (e.g., applications/application news and posters)
• You represent us at trade shows and scientific conferences throughout Europe or even worldwide

This is you:

• You have a university degree in the field of biochemistry, biology or chemistry or comparable qualifications
• Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in a technical company
• You have sound knowledge and practical experience in instrumental analysis, especially in MALDI-TOF for microbial identification, polymer analytic or MS Imaging; other MS-techniques are an advantage
• You are fluent in written and spoken English and have knowledge in the use of MS Office and maybe even in SAP R3
• Team spirit, strong communication skills and an independent way of working are part of your self-image
• You are highly flexible and willing to travel within Europe
• You have a class B driver’s license
