POSITION SCOPE

FPS is a global leader in turn-key food freezing and cooling equipment, serving clients across five continents. Due to our rapid expansion, we have an opening for a Product Engineer. QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in HVAC-R.
  • Able to travel to domestic and international job sites.
  • Detailed-oriented, strong analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of using AutoCAD and 3D modelling (Inventor/Solidworks) software.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for product marketing activities for sales to identify opportunities for customized or improved products and budgetary estimates of engineering, material, and labor costs.
  • Execute prototype testing in the lab and onsite to ensure the performance of the newly developed product.
  • Provide field service to customers when special customer/product knowledge is required and site troubleshooting for the products.
  • Resolve any product design issues with manufacturing and improve product design based on application, customer feedback, and site operation.
  • Standardize the existing product line, analyze the product lifecycle, and be involved in the new product development plan.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support sales or demonstrate product technology features.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, including internal design engineering standards and industrial standards.
  • Keep up to date with new technology that may apply to new projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
