Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

DNV’s SCPA Business Area is looking to hire an Product Specialist - Hazardous Location Equipment Services. You will join an exciting team of Product Specialists in the hazardous location equipment certification field, serving a wide range of industries and equipment types. Experienced technical resource for service delivery, competence development, technical sales, and project technical management in the product certification area.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Planning and performing assessment tasks, such as:

  • Testing/inspections related to manufacture of hazardous location equipment according to relevant standards and codes.
  • Planning and performing design review of hazardous location equipment and systems for compliance with relevant codes, standards (IEC 60079 series, IEC 6101-1, UL 121201 & other standards, ISO 80079) and customer specifications
  • Planning, implementing, and managing Quality Management System audits in accordance IEC 60079-34
  • Technical support developing certification cost proposals for Ex customers
