Description:

Overview:
This role supports the creation of product strategy, including analysis and shaping of strategic concepts. Supports the Product Strategy Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Aide the Product Strategy Manager in driving the long-term product strategy and roadmap for Service and external customer facing offerings.
  • Conceptualize, scope and evaluate potential new product offerings and supporting processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness for our Service and external customer experience.
  • Work with Program, Product and technical partners to successfully impart concept strategy, including high to mid level requirements, to agile teams in order to facilitate understanding and ensure feasibility of strategic offerings once within execution/build phase.
  • Lead efforts geared towards identifying workflow problems and solution patterns to drive value-based outcomes for our Service and related client workflows.
  • Make recommendations that support and align to the long term strategic Service and Product Strategy direction.
  • Partner with Product and Service/business stakeholders with the goal of providing clarity to make decisions and validate hypotheses on growth-focused projects.
  • Help to create, lead, and socialize the strategic narrative in order to secure and maintain alignment across Product, IT, and Service.
  • Synthesize data/research findings into compelling and strategic insights that will inform product strategy decisions/roadmaps.
  • Lead the creation of deep-dive decks to present those findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with strategy team counterparts to draw connections between products, internal & external trends, and shifting customer preferences.
  • Evaluate business models and competitive differentiation for existing and new offerings, and feed insights into product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the company; using networking and influence skills to accomplish group and individual goals.
  • Identify, scope and evaluate potential new offerings and work with Product and Program agile teams to validate feasibility of strategic concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Required
  • 4 years of experience in working within a Product environment, especially where large datasets are used to deliver business insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Promotes information sharing.
  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills.

Compensation: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $101,710.00 - $159,830 a year . Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range
