Description:
POSITION:
MIMOSA is seeking a skilled Product UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team and make impactful contributions to our growing remote health platform. We value your ability to excel independently while seamlessly collaborating within small teams. Your role involves actively participating in the iterative enhancement of our product, and working closely with our software development team to bring consumer-facing applications to life. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficiency in standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, and the like. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are highly desirable.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability, and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Front-end development skills, including familiarity with frameworks such as React or Angular, are nice to have.
Responsibilities:
- Design and refine user interfaces and user experiences for our digital health platforms across various devices.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for our products.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights, validate concepts, and make well-informed design decisions.
- Ensure that all aspects of the user experience are optimized for usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.
- Assist in front-end development, ensuring alignment between design and implementation, and contributing to code where applicable.
- Be open to learn and to contribute.
