Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Production Administrator. While no prior experience is necessary, preference will be given to candidates with some experience in administrative roles within production or manufacturing environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent education qualification.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and external suppliers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Issue materials daily based on material pick lists to support production requirements.
- Generate jobs in the ERP system in accordance with the reorder report to maintain inventory levels.
- Prepare job packages as per the production schedule, ensuring all necessary documents are included.
- Coordinate with the supply chain group to submit requests for raw materials needed for production.
- Regularly review job records for any mis-clocking or discrepancies and rectify them promptly.
- Release job packages to the shop floor as per the production schedule to facilitate timely execution.
- Collect completed job packages from the shipping building, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review cost of production and close work orders as required.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the production team and maintain efficient operations.
