REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Able to perform tedious/repetitive tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team or independently
  • Physical ability to lift to 50lbs
  • Overtime as required
  • Must have a clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted prior to start date)
  • Work with respirator, face mask, and/ or hearing protection for an extended time.
  • Prolonged standing, lifting, squatting, and/or bending.
  • Long hours may be required on occasion
  • Previous Cannabis and or production experience is an asset.
  • Previous knowledge of GPP, GAP and/or GMP regulations considered an asset

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. is currently looking for a Production Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be a variety of tasks throughout the production area, including the use of equipment and some manual tasks. Production associates will process, package, and label cannabis within Health Canada standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to adhere to and maintain and promote a positive company culture.
  • Promote and maintain the highest level of cleanliness inside the production area and facility by routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment
  • This individual will be required to ensure they have the correct equipment and supporting items for the run prepared for startup.
  • Execute packing orders within Health Canada standards, Customer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Ensure and uphold quality standards throughout production run of cannabis and packaging materials.
  • Responsible to ensure documentation is correct for run and all materials match up with specific runs. Including but not limited to labels, packaging/ material specs, Lot #, Strain, Brand, and inspections of product.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and ensure production forms are filled out correctly and consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership team.
  • Confirm accuracy on reconciliation of materials and cannabis.
  • Adheres to safety requirements and ensures proper PPE is always worn, including by not limited to steel toe shoes, facemasks, respirators, hearing protection, lab coat, and gloves.
  • Keep a clean and tidy work area.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs as they relate to daily work activities compliance with regulations to the Cannabis Act
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
