Chefgood is currently looking for a casual Associates in our Food Packing and Hot Fill team at our Keysborough, VIC site to help us grow and support our customer’s needs.

Your new role:

• Product Packaging: Accurately package food products into appropriate containers, ensuring portions and packaging materials meet company standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and consistency, removing any items that do not meet company specifications.
• Labeling: Properly label packages to ensure correct delivery to customer.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and company policies, including allergen management and health and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any operational issues efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness to ensure products are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of basic food safety practices and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Teamwork Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals and complete tasks efficiently.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet production deadlines and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Availability: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm
