QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum one (1) year working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow oral and written instruction
- Attention to detail to follow quality standards and meet customer packing requirements
- Basic math skills to ensure accuracy
- Demonstrated ability with hand and wrist motion, to sort, place gloves on hand forms, use stamping and packing machinery and equipment
- Ability to use a sewing machine is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Production – Team Leader on midnight shift, the Production Associate is responsible for filling orders accurately and efficiently. This individual is also responsible for product preparation, finishing, quality assurance, and other duties as required that provide support to the Production Team. This is a contract role with the potential of becoming a permanent role.
This individual is highly skilled at quality assurance, communication, sorting, and finishing, packing as well as working with production machinery including dip line by placing gloves on hand forms, Vend-Pak, and sewing machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place gloves on hand forms on the dip line machine; hands and wrists dexterity required for this task
- Verify orders and ensure accurate labelling
- Packing orders accurately, conducting quality checks and sorting of gloves
- Communicate quality issues as they arise
- Utilize vend-pak machine and paper banding machine for individual packaging and/or pack gloves in bags by the dozen with accuracy
- Sewing and serging labels, seams and other required product finishes
- Logo stamping and silk screening
- Gluing material components
- May require work in the clean room, wearing regulated attire as required
- Responsible for general upkeep of each workstation, ensuring clean for next person on rotation
- Comply with company policies and follow safety practices and procedures
