The Production Control Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervises, establishes and coordinates the production schedules in a factory environment.
  • Ensures the flow of materials, parts and assemblies between or within departments.
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Will focus heavily on maximizing the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the production operation and final product.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Develop/maintain material and inventory control systems supporting customers with on-time delivery.
  • Support material activity associated with a directed buy process and assist in resolving contract Manage material scheduling, engineering change process and monthly freights budgets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the supplier and customer.
  • Support the team with material storage issues; along with shipping and receiving dock.

What We Need from You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and/or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; 5-10 years of experience in each phase of production operation, including managing employees, process implementation, art, purchasing, marketing and prepress.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 5-10 years pf production and process improvement experience.
