JOB SUMMARY

As the Production Control Manager, you will coordinate and lead the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics scheduling functions to safely deliver high quality products on time and within budget. The manager is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules and relentlessly championing opportunities for improvements to forecasts.
This position’s internal job code is Supplier Program Mgmt. Our team is currently hiring for level K.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Math, Statistics, Finance, or Engineering, or 10 years of demand planning, material planning, or master scheduling experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demand planning, material planning, SIOP/IBP planning, and/or forecasting experience
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel is required - including pivot tables and formulas
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to align expectations and collectively work towards a common goal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • APICS certified
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Experience in consumer goods, aerospace, automotive, or pharmaceuticals preferred
  • Preferred experience in Deltek CostPoint
  • Knowledgeable on the logic of how complex ERP and MRP systems function relative to demand and demand management
  • Experience in forecasting processes and demand analysis methodology preferred
  • Experience using ERP and visualization/reporting software
  • Skills in VBA, SQL, Python, R, Tableau preferred
  • Ability to provide data and assumptions to assist with complex scenarios
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast pace, high growth, and changing environment where master scheduling processes are in a development phase
  • Must possess/exude leadership behaviors required to influence change and help shape a world class supply chain culture
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence

SUMMARY PAY-RANGE

  • Level L: $132,600 - $195,000

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Production Control, including: coordinating with peer production leaders, aligning on achievable targets that meet the needs of the business, creating and reporting on production schedules (i.e. outputs) and needs (i.e. inputs), executing against the material requirements plan, ensuring integrity of ERP system transactions, etc.
  • Own team communication
  • Provide overall company happenings and provide context to get ahead of swirl
  • Explain situations in context of the employee, the team, and Millennium
  • Provide rationale and background for higher level decisions
  • Provide mentorship and support development of members of the team via regular 1:1s, formal performance review sessions, career development plans, etc.
  • Develop and implement a rate-based forward scheduling system that supports business execution
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of capacity analyses to provide visibility into potential rate limiters and support proactively removing any blockers identified
  • Establish standard processes to support program teams in determining schedule feasibility and associated risk analysis for both current and future business
  • Work cross-functionally to implement improvement initiatives that address production bottlenecks and increase productivity
  • Assist the Director of Operations in both forecasting and reconciling resources required to satisfy a given scope of work
  • Implement reporting that provides insight into clear to build status, design/procedure release needs, etc. in order to improve program schedule visibility
  • Effectively partner with peer departments (i.e. Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, etc.) in order to maintain schedule and cost targets
  • Manage delivery of hardware required for production from inventory to shop floor personnel
