EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business-related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience
  • Cost accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and corporate finance tools
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Preferably business controller experience
  • Proven track record driving continuous improvement
  • Curiosity and initiative to discover root cause

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner
  • Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work; ability to learn quickly, and multi-task in deadline driven environment

Responsibilities:

  • Yearly process for standard costs including ERP updates for Uppsala, Freiburg and Helsingborg.
  • Analysis of standard costs development and margin effect in AOP and STRAP/5-year plan.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent standard costs in cooperation with finance and business team members at the three sites.
  • Regular standard cost updates on a day-to-day basis.
  • Validate Practical Process Improvements (PPI) savings, participate in Kaizens and highlight areas of opportunity.
  • Support and guide the business in standard cost inquiries, financial decisions and productivity projects.
  • Partner with functional stakeholders for financial transparency and accountability.
  • Support month end close and key variance financial reporting.
  • Support forecast and AOP reporting,
  • Ad hoc calculations, analyses and evaluations.
  • Engage in investments, E&O, cost control in close collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Continuously improve finance team processes with focus on standard cost improvements in execution.
  • Participate in key IT Projects including SAP ERP improvement projects.
    This role provides opportunities to expand the responsibilities in many directions, integrating with the wider Finance team and contributing to the continued success of IDD Finance.
