Production Controller

Main responsibilities:

• Expanding and enhancing production control, including overseeing production orders, material and resource usage, and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Generating a variety of reports, forecasts, and comparisons between planned, targeted, and actual outcomes, analysing discrepancies, and conducting variance analyses.
• Managing cost accounting processes and actively contributing to refining existing controlling procedures.
• Providing guidance to cost centre managers on cost optimization and productivity enhancement, including identifying variance causes, budget allocation breakdowns, and related calculations.
• Ensuring accurate inventory material balances during inventory checks and month-end closings.
• Undertaking project-specific controlling responsibilities and developing profitability assessments for business cases.
• Contributing to the preparation and settlement of tender applications.
• Handling intercompany settlements efficiently and accurately.

Required skills:

• Completed commercial/economic/finance education with relevant practical experience in controlling or alternative professional experience
• control levels and interactions - Overview and understanding of the processes and key contacts (production, SCM, sales)
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Independent, precise, structured and solution-orientated way of working
• Ability to explain complex connections to non-experts in a simple way and to pinpoint necessary actions
• In-depth expertise in data management
• Very good written and spoken English
• Relevant knowledge of creating reports, calculations, analyses and data preparation (tables, pivot, functions, BI tools) - Experienced use of MS Office
• Availability for present in local factory in Austria
