The opportunity
Nomad is in a significant expansion phase. To support the operational requirements of this growth, we are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to support our coffee production activity across our Richmond and Truganina facilities.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, the Production Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team with responsibility in creating the production schedule and ensuring the availability of products and consumables required.
This is a permanent full-time position, with your time being split 60/40 between our two locations, Truganina and Richmond.

Key Facets of the role;

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of green beans and packaging products.
  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination across departments.
  • Conduct regular audits and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with production targets.
  • Collaborate with production managers and planners to optimise scheduling processes and cost controls.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
