FOREMAN/SKILLED LABOURER

We are looking for hands-on foreman to be responsible for the installation of the company’s many different product lines. Guys that take pride in their work and that hold themselves to a higher standard of quality. Our foreman work hard and get rewarded with excellent pay and benefits. Some travel is required as our service area is very large covering all of southern Alberta. Because or aim is to be the best in our industry and “WOW” customers, we are looking for individuals who possess excellent skills/ability (we will train on specifics) and the ability/desire to provide excellent service to our customers.
Basement Systems Calgary is the regions best waterproofing, foundation, crawlspace, concrete lift and level repair as well as basement finishing and Radon mitigation and testing contractor.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing each job to completion. Reviews the job site to determine equipment and tools needed, plan time allotment, decide workload for self and installers, and observe and prevent potential safety hazards. Takes responsibility for assembling appropriate tools and equipment, assigning tasks to installers, and moving the job toward completion to ensure efficiency and quality. Keeps in contact with customer to aid in understanding and satisfaction with job. Supports the management and mission of the company.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSAS) AND TALENTS:
- Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
- Skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
Ability to see the “big picture” i.e. total job, and break it into steps (efficiency).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED preferred;
- (3-5) years experience in construction trades preferred;
