Production Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Technical Documentation (ca. 30%): Analyzing and optimizing internal work processes; Develop & formulate production standards, work instructions (practically applicable by workers & globally applicable (English), -Future step towards digitalization)
• Operational Expenditures “Production” (ca. 40%): Identify & implement improvement potentials with teams, Check/track effectiveness of improvements in routine, Interface function to engineering (release of technical changes, technological improvements, troubleshooting etc.); Interface function to controlling (quotation calculation); Creating training manuals and work instructions for various production steps (e.g. resulting from quality deviations); Implementation of training courses / further qualification of employees across the board (international)
• Project Work (ca. 15%): Development of the global footprint for supply systems
• Quality Management (ca. 15%): Analyses/evaluations as input for store floor; Processing of deviations (8D report); Interface function to quality; Advancing technological development, e.g. in the area of welding; Supporting controlling and engineering in the calculation of quotations as a production specialist

Qualifications:

• Completed Master’s degree in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering or comparable studies
• Relevant experience in the production environment and ideally knowledge of the production steps welding, painting, assembly desired
• Project management experience and strong communication skills at various hierarchical levels, team player
• Innovative and analytical approach, paired with strong implementation skills and hands-on mentality
• Independent way of working and above-average motivation
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English (B2)
• Willingness to travel
