State-of-the-art motion control is realized for OEM integrations, special developments and research applications. Our company has a tradition of continuous improvement and growth in the development of new products. To achieve this, we rely on an excellent team of PhD’s, development engineers and well-trained technicians as well as a professional sales team.
Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a Production Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• As a production engineer, you improve and optimize the current production methods in an ultra-precize working environment. By profound analysis of the product steps, you formulate and evaluate improvement steps. LAB Motion Systems has a wide set of production machines and measurement equipment and a skilled technical team to support you in this process.
• As a production engineer you evaluate and propose new investments to ramp up the production and optimize the quality. You follow-up on field returns (8D-reporting), follow-up quality process (IS09001). You work closely together with the production manager to detect bottlenecks in the process, with the product developers to assess the innovative steps and with the CTO to improve and innovate the technical tools and skills of the production team.
• We expect strong communicative skills, a good capability of working with technically oriented people and a coaching attitude towards product and process improvements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for technology
• Masters’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent by experience
• Profound knowledge in high-precision production techniques (diamond turning, lapping, milling, grinding, … )
• Profound knowledge in quality measurements (CMM, flatness measurements, roundness measurements, … )
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, …)
• Honouring the company values: honousty and transparancy, problem solving attitude, teamwork oriented
• Open communication & customer first approach
• Experience of minimum 3 years in machine building company
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Proved knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawing (preferable in Inventor)
