Various fibres (carbon fibres, ceramics and other technical fibres) in combination with resins are often used by 2C Composites to develop specific products for its customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Technology
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Experience in composite materials technology is an advantage
  • Sound methodological expertise in the areas of product and process development and quality (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of processes
  • Assertiveness, curiosity and openness to new ideas
  • Independent, flexible and systematic way of working
  • Strong communication skills, structured working style and team spirit

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for quality issues, i.e. processing complaints, analysing causes and initiating corrective actions as well as conducting process audits
  • Planning and monitoring of production orders
  • Prototype development
  • Support and optimization of existing production processes and logistical procedures
  • Evaluating and introducing new technologies and processes as well as supporting new product start-ups
  • Introduction and implementation of lean management within production
  • Analysing, testing and selecting Industry 4.0 solutions
  • Continuously build customer relationships by promoting customer projects and developing business opportunities
  • Managing and monitoring the order fulfilment process for the entire SKF 2C Composite portfolio
