Production Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education in technical, mechanical or electromechanical specialization;
• Knowledge of PC operation (Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP);
• Knowledge of English at conversational level;
• Knowledge of technological flow, manufacturing processes, industrial automation (Siemens Plc);
• Knowledge of CAD software (Autocad, Catia);
• Presentation, communication and planning skills;
• Experience in leading teams;
• Ability to facilitate problem solving within teams;
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Organizes the production process in order to achieve it in terms of quantity and quality, according to the established daily planning;
• Supervises the proper functioning of production equipment and machinery;
• Monitors and controls the production process by production phases according to the planning;
• Controls the quality of the finished products and the palletizing process, and according to the deficiencies found, takes measures to remedy them and supports the understanding and adaptation of customer requirements to specific machines as well as the application and improvement of quality standards and product quality;
• Analyses and proposes performance indicators for activities to be adopted as targets;
• Maintains and develops production capabilities;
• Trains operators when introducing a new product into production;
• Tracks, records and analyzes production indicators established with his/her manager and takes action to achieve set targets and improve efficiency on machinery;
• Monitors the waste produced on machines, proposes reduction measures and acts to implement them;
• Follow the rational and most economical use of raw materials and materials needed for production;
• Supports and ensures compliance with the established maintenance plan;
• Provides support in resolving internal complaints for each product that does not meet quality indicators;
• Participates in production meetings and on the basis of the information establishes the organization of production, management of emergencies, allocation of resources;
• Participates in the selection, recruitment, training, induction and development of all subordinate staff, in close liaison with the manager and the Human Resources department;
• Evaluates and supervises the work of subordinate staff and establishes measures for motivation, sanction, promotion;
• Ensures specific conditions for continuous improvement processes;
• Defines the assembly process and produces work instructions;
• Participates in the improvement of processes in the integrated management system;
• Optimizes the production flow and all necessary elements participating in the production process (product/process validation).
