Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the local Supply Chain tasks (supply planning, procurement, production planning, customer service), potentially leading small team
  • Drives efficiency of flows from supply planning and execution to customer delivery by optimizing supply chain cost, processes, inventory, and customer interaction, and considering specific customer requests and legal requirements
  • Ensures availability of materials for production
  • Supports and or participates to local, regional and global projects (process improvements, complexity reduction, portfolio management, new SCM solutions, tender, MoB)
  • Constantly checks production capacity vs demand and proposes adjustments in case of need
  • Ensures an accurate material flow from suppliers to customers, which results in high stock accuracy; carries out yearly stock taking
  • Supports the company audits and the resolution of quality issues
  • Monitors and improves relevant KPI’s on a regular basis and presents corrective measures in cooperation with all relevant internal & external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable with more than 3 years’ experience working in operational tasks, ideally in SCM and customer service of an international FMCG organization
  • Deep knowledge in all elements of SCM & Customer service management, including overseas business
  • Knowledge of all relevant ERP systems (SAP, BI, …)
  • Deep user knowledge in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient problem solver with a strong drive for continuous learning.
  • Enjoys working in an international, intercultural environment within a matrix organization
  • Possesses leadership skills, embraces change, and has a holistic business understanding
  • Very good English
