We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Production Line Operative to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate machinery and equipment on the production line, including but not limited to, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
  • Weighing up and placement of the ingredients keeping up with the line speeds
  • Perform regular quality checks on products to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area and equipment according to company protocols and food safety regulations.
  • Always follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Our ideal Production Line Operative will:

  • Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods (PPE Provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict procedures and guidelines.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret documents such as menu cards and guidelines, safety rules, operating procedures, and production schedules.
