We are currently looking for a Plant Master Electrician. This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in our Salt Lake City plant. Their duties include perform skilled electrical-level work in the maintenance and repair of
electrical equipment, communicating with management to establish job details and related costs, reviewing electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits and coordinating with team members to install electrical fixtures and other items.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, and electrical hazards, and flames. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with production planning systems (MRP/ERP)
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment. Preferably dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of production.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among plant employees.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Controls costs to meet financial targets.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and operators.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and development.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Safety Protocol: Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures, correct or report any observed safety hazards, support safety policies and programs.
