Description:

OUR CLIENT IS A GLOBAL MNC, ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS IN THE OIL & GAS SECTOR. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A PRODUCTION MANAGER TO BE PART OF THEIR TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise personnel to uphold safety standards and optimize productivity within the machine shop
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, on-time delivery, and productivity objectives
  • Oversee allocation and utilization of resources including staff, equipment, tooling, and programs for smooth operations
  • Analyze intricate machine blueprints for production feasibility
  • Suggest and execute tooling and fixtures strategies for machining intricate components, while managing cost efficiencies
  • Collaborate with the company’s sales team to provide accurate machining time estimates
  • Investigate and address variances between planned and actual outcomes, implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Oversee daily meetings for material review, offering technical insights for non-conformance resolutions
  • Engage in quality issue troubleshooting, liaising with external vendors as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products
  • Champion and drive continuous improvement initiativesAll other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field of studies
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Oil & Gas industry
