    Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the manufacturing industry? My client is seeking an experienced production specialist to join this well regarded, growing multi-national hydraulic hose & fittings organisation. Your remit is to manage the production process, optimise resources and maintain the highest standards of quality. No shift work. This role is a Monday to Friday role.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and customer demand.
  • Coordinate with various branches and departments such as supply chain, warehouse and quality assurance to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Manage and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor production processes and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager/Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office applications.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making abilities and organisational skills.
