Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with company objectives for growth, innovation, and profitability.
  • Oversee all activities in the food production department, including operations, quality control, procurement, inventory, and personnel.
  • Ensure smooth production processes, meeting targets while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses, and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Plan and deliver complex projects, managing resources, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Foster communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies.
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies for disruptions.
  • Support product quality and food safety processes.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by superiors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Education, Management, Technical, Culinary, Food Service Management, Dietetics, Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, Healthcare, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a relevant field or in the Food and Beverage (F&B) background.
  • Proven experience in food production management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
