Responsibilities:
Support the lead center mission statement and IATF 16949 integral policy
Meet or exceed sales, cost, quality, delivery and profitability targets
Responsible for increasing productivity levels, decreasing costs, and managing the production unit from a financial perspective
Manage through proficient use of a variety of tools including SAP, VPS, APQP, IATF16949, etc.
Create an organizational climate where we can produce a quality product in a safe and controlled manner.
Support Policy Deployment and roll it to the model cell level
Drive VPS concepts within production unit through “hands-on” participation in Kaisen activities.
Responsible for long range production capital plans, headcount projections, and budgets for business unit.
Compliace with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations including safety and enviromental.
Assist in managing product transfers to other facilities as needed
Asssit Plant Manager and Human Resources in setting/revising plant policies and procedures.
Other tasks and responsabilities as required by the Plant Manager
Lead by example
Product quality
Production related Machine Corrective and Preventive maintenance
Guarantee the safety of all associates
Follow up and keep in control pending task board (4M`s) and report to Plant Manager any issue with its accomplishment
Promote continuos improvement
To be a leader in implementing the ideas generated at the production line
VPS and continuos improvement
Promote continuos improvement through the quality activities
Participate in the plant overall VPS program and activities
Promote and participate in the VPS training plant and development of its own team and the total facility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, mechanical or similar
5 years of manufacturing experience similar position in automotive industry
Production planning and organization,
Capacity planning (machinery, people)
Manufacturing process principles (assembly or mixing or bonding or plastic or vulcanization) and process steps (process design, specification book and process release),
Capacity analysis and management, Finance and Costing.
Fluent English Desirable
