Description:
Renatus Exteriors is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Production Manager to join our growing team. As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of exteriors projects: ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion.
Production Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, considering timelines, resource requirements, and project goals.
- Coordinate with the sales team to understand project specifications and client expectations.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of roofing professionals, including supervisors, installers, and support staff.
- Ensure proper training and certification of team members.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in roofing installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Material and Resource Management:
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Provide regular reports on project financials to the leadership team.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster open communication within the team and with other departments.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Production Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience in roofing project management.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe working environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
