JOB SUMMARY

Our client, a recycling organization located in Ogun state, seeks the services of a Production Manager who will oversee and manage all aspects of the recycling plant’s production processes. This includes ensuring efficient and effective operations, maintaining safety standards, optimizing resource use, and leading a team of production staff.

• Minimum Qualification: Degree
• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years experience in a Plastic Manufacturing or Plastic Recycling factory as a Production Manager.
• Must possess a degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Must be good with Numbers and Arithmetic.
• Must be self motivated for growth and strive for continuous improvements.
• Must possess a good managerial and inter-personal skills.

• To ensure optimum use of : Machinery, Manpower, Raw Materials, Electricity Power
• To plan the production for each week, each day and each shift.
• Constant Management and Supervision of Factory workers.
• To develop means to minimize down time and wastage during production.
• Responsible for keeping the Production floor neat and tidy.
• Responsible for hiring and replacement of Factory workers.
• Ensuring the safety of all Factory Workers and Equipment.
• Know the power consumption of each machine optimal use of electricity.
• Know the capacity of each machine for delivering production output.
• Learn how to operate all the Machines to ensure factory workers use them properly.
• Ensure timely and proper maintenance of Machineries and Generators.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reports which are to be submitted on time.
