Whilst not essential previous exposure as below would be an advantage:
- Lifting & Rigging industry knowledge or experience
- Warehousing and distribution knowledge experience
Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Production Officer based at our Rutherford branch to complete testing, inspections, and warehouse work. As a part of our team, you will be involved in the testing, repairing and manufacture or wire and synthetic ropes, chains, and height safety equipment in line with quality assurance guidelines. You will perform warehouse duties as required including receiving, picking, dispatch and delivery of products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operation of test machines, presses, and other machinery
- Ensuring accurate documentation and records
- Liaising with customers regarding testing and repair works
- Regular communication with internal staff
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Warehouse duties including forklift operation
