Description:

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation in the medical sector. Joining a large team of around 100 staff, this is a newly created position responsible for the planning and smooth running of manufacturing operations for 14 production rooms and 20 staff.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include:

  • Develop and maintain productions schedules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement & logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Ensure team members perform their tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Mentor and develop staff
  • Oversee the work of team members and act as a liaison between the team and the management
  • Estimating the amount of material and labour required for production
  • Promptly addressing and resolving product issues
  • Coordinating with quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements are met
  • Participate in production meetings to communicate schedule changes, production priorities and resource requirements
  • Working closely with the Warehouse Manager in relation to inventory levels

To be considered for this position you will ideally have prior experience within a manufacturing environment within the FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Medical sectors. Good computer skills ideally with prior experience with SAP (or other ERP) is preferred. Sound interpersonal, communication and numeracy skills are also required and you will be able to work independently however also work well with a team environment, with high attention to detail.
This is an office based role Monday to Friday with standard hours being 8.30am to 5.00pm. The salary guide is $80,000 - $90,000 + Super however may be negotiable dependent on experience.
