Description:

The company prides themselves on a great culture and coming up with the next “best thing”. They are now wanting a Production Manager to join the growing team and fast track their career
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
3. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
4. Analyse production to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of inefficiency.
5. Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
6. Participate in production meetings to communicate schedule changes, production priorities, and resource requirements.
7. Work closely with inventory control to manage inventory levels.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field an advantage but not necessary
  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in production planning software.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
