SUMMARY
This role plans and schedules the facility production operations to ensure facility objectives are met or exceeded at the lowest cost consistent with operating requirements. This job is accountable for the effective planning and scheduling of production operations to optimize the utilization of labor, materials and raw product to meet the requirements defined by pack mix and inventory objectives.
TYPICAL EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

- 3+ years related experience and/or training

Responsibilities:
- Ensures the interface with support personnel or groups is conducted in a participative management style that is conducive with operational goals.
- Maintains appropriate inventory levels for production materials and supplies.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner, ensures confidentiality regarding sensitive issues and ensures personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the Company.
- Ensure that additional accountabilities as may be required by management be handled in a manner necessary to meet operational goals.
- Coordinates the operating schedules to ensure correct levels of finished inventories are maintained.
- Coordinates scheduled downtime to provide opportunity for efficient repair and maintenance of production equipment.
- Coordinates the rework of bulk product to maintain minimum inventory levels.
- Coordinates utilization of raw product to ensure compliance with finished product specification and optimum recovery.
- Ensures that all packaging materials are correctly sized and labeled per Company and customer specifications.
