Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and scheduling job orders to ensure the efficient and effective operations of our production team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise machine utilisation, minimise production lead times, and ensure timely delivery of orders. This role will serve as the primary point of contact with our Customer Service team and will involve managing production job creation, scheduling, status updates, and communication of delays. This is a 6-month fixed term contract – potential to extend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert sales orders to production orders and schedule through various resource cells to maximise efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy of BOM, routings, and resource cells in the ERP and scheduling system.
  • Monitor production progress and update order status in the system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on capacity planning and load levelling to meet production demand.
  • Advise management on necessary changes to times and materials.
  • Communicate production issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the implementation of a new system, including data cleansing and training.
  • Provide customer-related support and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Present ideas for continuous improvement programs and strategies.
