  Mackellar is the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. With Supervisors as direct reports, the Production Superintendent will oversee the day to day production operations of the crews that have grown to exceed 100 operators per crew.
  Becoming a valued member of the site Leadership Team, you will build and lead a highly skilled and productive team that ensures targets are met or exceeded. The main focus of this role will be on continuous improvement whilst overseeing all aspects of mine production. Bringing with you experience in working for a principal contractor, you will understand how to negotiate and influence the client to maximise the outcomes for Mackellar.
  This role will be an 8/6 roster, with travel out of Rockhampton or Townsville only.

Applicants must have:

• Extensive experience in a similar position specifically in coal mining operations, with a proven track record in delivering high standards and results across mining projects
• Demonstrated experience in the effective workforce leadership and management, particularly within contract mining operations
• Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 & G2
• Queensland driver licence
• Senior First Aid certificate (HTLAID003) would be beneficial
