About the role
Our Production Supervisors are responsible for managing the Production teams on shift and making sure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently 24/7. You’ll make sure that production tasks are completed to the highest of standards in line with legal requirements.
What you’ll do
You’ll assist the Production Manager with the operational plans for current production requirements as well as future growth. You’ll support in all thing’s rota, ingredient, food safety, health and safety and hygiene related. You’ll make sure your teams are motivated, engaged and fully trained to meet their objectives and targets, following a customer focused approach, to make sure that only the highest quality products reach our loyal customers.
You’ll create an environment of continuous improvement to make sure we remain competitive, with plenty of opportunities to directly influence the success of the operation on site.
Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you’ll be exposed to flour and dust.

About you

  • You’re a leader who has experience in managing teams, building team capability and motivating your people to bring their best every day. You’re experienced and know what you’re talking about when it comes to food production and manufacturing
  • You have a good knowledge of HACCP and an understanding of the Health and Safety responsibilities linked with Supervising in a food production environment
  • You know how to operate business management systems to support you to assess, drive and guarantee team and business results are achieved
  • You know what you’re talking about when it comes to using Microsoft IT packages and you’ve had exposure to SAP systems
  • You can demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of Food Hygiene (ideally, you’ll hold a level 2 Food Hygiene qualification)
  • You are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
  • You bring your natural flair for team work, whilst enjoying management responsibility and of course, have lots of fun along the way!
