WOLVERHAMPTON (I54)

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor - Machining to join Access 360 to supervise production personnel on all machining operations. To ensure adherence to agreed processes and systems for optimum safety, quality cost and delivery. Working collaboratively with support functions to identify process, product or system failures for continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

  • Have a good understanding of the requirements and limitations of CNC machining processes at A360 including Punching, Panel folding, Folding, Powder Coating, milling and miter sawing.
  • Ensure daily machine checks and routine maintenance are completed as specified
  • Monitor output performance from each process and address/escalate issues of underperformance with backing from support functions.
  • Ensure trained machine operators are deployed effectively to achieve production targets and request support where necessary
  • Maintain HR records through our co. systems
  • Manage time and attendance of direct reports
  • Provide timely reports of specific KPIs in support of the management team
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our business in terms of safety, quality, cost and delivery
  • Support production planning in accurate control of raw material stocks.
  • Assist with troubleshooting problems during production runs and provide solutions promptly.
  • Input of production status in our preferred production control system
