Description:

As a production technician, you will be helping our manufacturing team in producing drones and base stations of the Sunflower Labs Beehive drone-in-a-box system. You will prepare components, perform inspections, configure and test electronics, assemble these parts into subsystems, then into final systems. Performing the job in a methodical and clean way is essential, as well as keeping the workplace organized. You will be collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product design. This position is for an on-site employee for our Zurich office.

Tasks

  • Assemble products in a small volume production facility
  • Configure and test electronic circuit boards according to our procedures
  • Perform incoming inspection of parts and electronic components
  • Maintain and improve production related documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly and test procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product design

Requirements

  • Understanding of technical drawings, assembly instructions and test protocols
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting priorities
  • Affinity for mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written English skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience with with building and flying drones preferred
  • Polymechanic EFZ or similar preferred
  • Work permit in Switzerland required
