JOB SUMMARY:

Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum AA in Engineering, BA preferred
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in systems troubleshooting preferred
  • Basic knowledge of PC, System and Server operation
  • Familiarity with Window or DOS
  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
  • Solid communications skills both verbal and written
    Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

Responsibilities:

INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY ALSO BE ASSIGNED):

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot all products from our assembly line and RMA

  • PCBA (BP, MB and Server related boards) Incoming Quality Control
  • Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed boards
  • Test and identify defective area(s) and enter information into RMA Repair database
  • Execute ECO, BIOS, and FW upgrades
  • Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements
  • Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment
  • Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
