Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join us as a Production Trades Assistant in Maryborough, QLD. This is a busy role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. As a primary function of your role, you will be required to perform tasks as planned by the Supervisor & Production Manager. You will assist with general workshop operations.

Your days will be busy and varied, and will include:

  • Physical labour, manual handling, moving materials on forklift and other ad-hoc tasks around the workshop.
  • Workshop housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment Commitment to a Zero Harm workplace that promotes an excellent teamwork attitude.
  • Assisting the Area Production Manager with suggestions for improvement in safety, efficiency and quality and providing factory floor support where needed
  • Reports safety issues immediately.
  • Ensures factory has neat steel storage/stock and clear walkways.
  • Leaves work area clean and tidy with tools back in place.
  • Loads & unloads trucks when requested (only if inducted on the necessary equipment).
  • Other duties as requested by management.
