The Professional Learning Director manages School District customer training and is a pedagogical expert, developing and organizing professional learning for prospective and current clients. This position supports the Professional Learning department by supporting change management for school districts, ensuring the team delivers content and product expertise for teachers and administrators, and ultimately driving renewal sales of Core products.
Position Type : This is a regular , full-time position .
Compensation : Base pay is anticipated to be between $ 106,557 and $ 130, 000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location : In this US-based position your location will be remote .
Travel : You can also expect up to approximately 50 % trav el, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience .

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Co n veys subject matter expertise in the development and facilitation of adult and product consulting meetings for kindergarten through 12th grade core subject. Deep expertise in either ELA or math is preferred.
  • Alongside the Director of Professional Learning, leads the PL team, with special focus on custom professional learning solutions for strategic accounts, leading Specialists to effectively navigating the numerous steps in the collaborative custom training development process demonstrating the ability to influence learning outcomes.
  • Manage strategy and development of professional development plans for RFPS.
  • Manage strategy for certification of facilitators with the end goal of creating a cohesive process across core products.
  • Communicate with sales and marketing, working with internal production, design, technology, and academic design teams to shape and develop deliverables that will drive success of the product in the marketplace.
  • Collaborating with the other departments, create and refine an excellent client experience by developing world-class professional learning trainings that ensures client participants achieve the outcomes of the learning session.
  • Builds credibility with team who in turn cultivate trust with teachers, staff, and district leaders by ensuring that training participants receive organized, exceptional professional development.
  • Exudes deep curriculum knowledge with the ability to pivot when it comes to pedagogy, product, and platform.
  • Define customer segmentation, strategies , and support models and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist all implementation team efforts nationally and within assigned regions to promote product sales and partner engagement.
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise .

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Sales, Marketing, Account Management , or related field, and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in developing, delivering, and improving meaningful professional learning experiences or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • A master’s degree , Ph.D., or extensive experience in adult learning facilitation is preferred.
  • Additional expertise in working with large school districts in a consultative approach is preferred.
  • K-12 grade English Language Arts or Mathematics teaching background as well as school administration experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience working with a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system.
  • Ability to understand ongoing market trends and align campaigns to relevant projects and programs.
  • Knowledge of industry-accepted best practices and tools.
  • Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to articulate instructional/technical concepts with clarity.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
